These terms cover the Bikepacking Wizard app and the website bikepackingwizard.com, from Bikepacking Wizard LLC of Bella Vista, Arkansas. The app is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms describe the app and its subscription and cover the website. Using the app or the website means you accept them.
What the app is
Bikepacking Wizard is a planning aid for bikepacking races and tours. Its arrival times, store answers, carry amounts and pace are estimates built from past race results and from the information available about each business. Store hours change, businesses close, courses change and weather happens. Check anything your ride depends on before you rely on it.
Not a safety or navigation device
The app is not a safety device, an emergency service or a navigation system. Carry the food, water, navigation and emergency equipment your ride needs, and follow your race's rules. You are responsible for your own safety and your own decisions.
The subscription
The app is not on sale yet. The planned price is $69 a year, in US dollars. The subscription will be sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, and it will renew each year until you cancel it.
- Cancelling: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, tap Bikepacking Wizard, then tap Cancel Subscription.
- Refunds: Apple handles refunds under its own policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your data
The privacy policy describes what the app and the website do with data.
Ownership
The app, its race data and this website belong to Bikepacking Wizard LLC. Map data and other outside content shown in the app belong to their owners and are credited in the app.
No warranty
To the extent the law allows, the app and the website are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Bikepacking Wizard LLC is not liable for any loss or injury that comes from using the app or the website, including a closed store, a wrong estimate or a missed turn. Its total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with a new date.
